Roles and Responsibilities
Manage time efficiently and continually improve personal work ethic.

Work with cross-functional team to complete projects on time while meeting planned budget.
Research and source products across all departments: Maintenance, machining, mold making, safety and operations.
Price raw materials and purchase components.
Coordinate distribution of product and schedules.
Collate purchase orders and purchase requisitions in order to order material, goods and supplies for the organization.
Identify continuous improvement initiatives including but not limited to reducing inventory levels, material flow and reducing ship cycle times.
Processes vendor PO’s.
Prepare daily, weekly and monthly reports for the upper management.
Track the status of open orders to ensure the deliveries meet our promised dates.
Review inventories and order as required.
Maintain records and follow up files of purchases, shipments, and related matters.
Maintain strong working relationships with our vendors.
Work closely with the Purchasing Manager to identify and rectify supply risks (sole-sourced materials, poor supply performance, etc.)
Assist with the completion of audits to ensure paperwork and partner payments are accurate, and provide recommendations based on audit findings.
Contact vendors when there are discrepancies with orders.
Maintain system libraries and keep updated with current pricing, terms, ship via, etc.
Create and administer task priority lists based on company needs.
Perform all duties in accordance with the requirements of ISO 9001.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
May perform other duties as assigned or required.
Qualifications & Education Requirements
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Bachelor’s degree in supply chain.
2+ years purchasing raw materials and components.
Proficient in MS Word and Excel.
Strong customer service experience and professional attitude.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Ability to follow the process through from start to finish while problem solving is required.
