About the Position
As the Linux Infrastructure Team Lead, you will have opportunity to collaborate with the software development, R&D, and executive teams to define strategic IT plans aimed at striking a balance between technology and business strategy, cascading this strategy into long- and short-range plans. This position is responsible for leading a technical staff in operating and maintaining infrastructure that supports a high performance, high availability SaaS services running on Linux and ESXi servers in our co-location facility and on Google Cloud and Amazon Web Services. You will implement and direct technologies and tools to help the company improve productivity and performance, ensuring the absolute safety of all data, network access, and back-up systems. The Team Lead needs a high level of personal initiative and the ability to exercise independent judgment with discretion.
Our technology stack includes Nextgen Palo Alto Networks, F5 BigIPs, and HPe servers in high performance, fully redundant Linux deployments and storage networks running Kubernetes clusters. Your team is responsible for installing new software, troubleshooting, granting permissions to applications and providing technical support to internal users. Your team establishes and manages standard operating processes to ensure systems monitoring, incident handling, system release management, system maintenance, disaster recovery and SOC compliance.
Other Experience/Qualifications
- CentOS Linux administration in multi-server production environments
- Configuration management (preferably Ansible/RHEL AAP/Tower IaaC)
- Database/application deployments (MongoDB, PostgreSQL, MariaDB, Zookeeper, Memcached)
- VMWare Clusters administration
- Strong software and networking fundamentals
- BS or MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent technical experience
- 5+ years experience of that working in Linux Administration or DevOps
- Experience managing teams and project
Physical Demands
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.
- Must be able to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
- Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, or computer printer.
- Frequently communicates with employees, vendors, and customers.
- Occasionally requires light to heavy physical effort in handling, lifting, pushing, or pulling objects and/or equipment weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Occasionally requires some standing, walking, climbing, stooping, and bending in confined areas.
- Occasionally exposed to physical risks, mostly dealing with the weight of servers or other data center equipment that is racked in confined spaces.
- Lifting requirements: Medium – up to 50 pounds.

Pay: $150,084.22 - $179,710.53 per year
