IKAL Spa + Face Salon is looking for an experienced lash and brow specialist to join our team in Soho. An esthetics license is preferred.
The position will be 2-3 days a week. Weekends are a must. Starting working hours are 12 pm to 8 pm, but may be adjusted based on client demand.

We are looking for team members that:

- Are willing to improve and expand their service repertoire
- Possess a passion for esthetics treatments
- Are committed to maintaining a welcoming and relaxing spa environment
- Have a valid esthetics license in the state of New York (preferred)
Applicant responsibilities
Our new team member should have professional experience in brow and lash services. However, since we are a small spa, we are looking for a team member that is open to learning and providing a wide range of esthetic services, including:
- threading and tweezing (face and brows) – 1-year minimum of experience required
- lash perm/lift – experience required
- brow lamination – experience required
- lash and brow tinting – experience required
- lash extensions – experience preferred
- facials (classic, hydrainfusion, vitamin C, etc.)
- body hair removal (sugaring/waxing)
Beyond providing superb esthetics treatments, team members are also expected to:
- Evaluate guests’ needs and develop high-quality customized service plans
- Provide product recommendations when appropriate
- Complete accurate documentation of each client
- Build strong guest relationships focused on client retention
- Clean and maintain treatment room and other spa areas as needed
- Assist with day-to-day supporting tasks in the studio
Compensation
Team members are independent contractors compensated at a base rate of $18-22 per hour depending on qualifications, plus tips and product commission. Team members are responsible for maintaining professional liability insurance to cover the services they provide.
