Senior Marketing Manager

Education/Requirements

Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
6 - 8 years of relevant experience in digital and social media marketing management within a lifestyle or entertainment/talent based organization.
Experience as a digital account supervisor/manager, digital marketing manager, or social community manager is preferred.
Experience developing and executing successful digital marketing plans across all digital channels is a must including social advertising.
Experience with Adobe Omniture Suite, Asana, TripleSeat, Facebook Business Manager and Google Analytics/DFA is a plus.
Working Knowledge Requirements

Knowledge of online technology with particular focus in blogs, social networks (including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram and Twitter), mobile and other emerging platforms.
Working knowledge of SEO and SEM.
Management of a professional blog for an organization and/or business.
Content management systems to update/add content.
Ad platforms for digital and social media marketing.
Strong communication, research, presentation and creative skills.
Proficient with Microsoft Office - Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
Proficient in Windows Office, Microsoft Office, Mac OSX, POS systems.
Experience/Skills

5-7 years prior Marketing Experience including managing a team.
Ability to work on multiple projects at one time.
Prior budget management experience is a must.
Knowledge of Digital Marketing and Event Strategy is a must.

Overview:
Primary function is to assist the Director of Marketing with the management of marketing flow. Own the communication process for the core marketing team. Senior Marketing Manager will have the first set of eyes for approvals on branded content, assists in the creative of content over Digital and Public Relations and assist overall in the event marketing of the venues. Will have oversight from team with regards to Public Relations timelines, calendars and efforts.

Reporting to the Director of Marketing of Las Vegas

Job Description:
Effectively execute social and digital programs through collaborative partnerships insights tracking, competitive research analysis and the testing of new and emerging channels and technologies.
Manage and optimize web site content for emerging mobile, tablet, and desktop environments.
Analyze digital metrics and trends to improve and/or add functionality, drive repeat visits, grow the amount of time spent on site/page, and increase word-of-mouth, all in effort to improve campaign performance.
Work with the information technology group on managing/deploying new marketing technologies.
Manage ad hoc projects and potential shifts in venue assignments.
Directs website development projects in conjunction with Sr. Digital Marketing Manager and under guidance of Director of Marketing; including the creation of e-commerce initiatives as well splash pages and landing pages, microsites and other relevant digital campaign collateral.
Attends all event marketing related functions as needed.
Responsible for overseeing the conceptualization, planning and execution of themed and sponsored events including contests and events to attract local demographic.
Manages a team in conceptualizing themes and developing activation and experiential layers for events including décor, giveaways, costumes and additional branding elements.
Manage team to develop and execute local NC, beach and convention events and develop new event ideas.
Cultivates, pitches and secures local & national partners/sponsors to create events that attract publicity and attendance to the venue.
Generates Promotions and Ancillary rights contracts for events as needed.
Manages marketing team by giving them deliverables on securing partners for events particularly during key convention times.
Works together with Director of Beverage to understand and execute all deliverables.
Negotiates contracts with local vendors who are necessary to execute successful events (décor, entertainment, etc) as needed.
Keeps up to date with all pop culture and current events and look for opportunities to capitalize on trends through nightclub events.
Work with PR to ensure all measurements are taken to maximize press for brand and events.
Work with PR Outlets to distribute press comps for venue use to leverage exposure to brand.
Works with Beverage Team to execute beverage activations at the nightclubs and pool clubs.
Assists the Director of Marketing with advertising, purchasing, branding and sponsorship fulfillment.
Manages all aspects of marketing events from conceptualization to execution, including (but not limited to) decor, staff attire, branded promotional giveaways, performers, costumes, social media outreach and promotions.
Brainstorms with Marketing team and corporate marketing team to create unique events and partnerships that are on trend and attract a wide audience of tourists and local guests.
Conceptualizes plans and executes theme nights, contests and events to attract local industry demographic.
Develops a plan that meets the needs of the event, the expectations of event partners and management, and stays within the costs outlined for each deliverable.
Leads the project team to perform the work of the project as planned, develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress, and teach the new team members how to work within a changing environment.
Communicates progress, challenges, expectations, timelines, milestones and other key project metrics to Marketing Director and team members.
Creates contingency plans with appropriate input from key team members and implement a revised project schedule, scope or budget in a timely manner.
Manages project budgets and accounting procedures.
Works with the Director of Marketing on targeting conventions for the year to partner with for events.
Shares responsibility with Marketing Manager in attending venue pre-shift the night of the event to review the points of the event with the staff and answer any outstanding questions.
Works with the restaurant General Managers, Executive Chefs, Director of Beverage, Director of Marketing and Director of Special Events on determining participation, completion of necessary commitment paperwork and event planning of all off-site events.
Coordinates any approved charity participation and provides the Accounting Department with documentation necessary for tax purposes.
Responsible for executing any editorial/promotional events.
Assist with the conceptualization, planning and execution of weekly and sponsored events at all nightclub and restaurant venues.
Coordinate announcements of marketing events across all marketing platforms and departments for all venues at least 30 days out.
Negotiate contracts with local vendors who are necessary to execute successful events (décor, entertainment, swag etc) as needed
Liaison with Hotel resort on any major events/marketing efforts to ensure they have long lead notice and awareness
Ensuring all marketing efforts are being communicated to team as well as property wide
Working with Lead VIP hosts to engage host team
Looking for new and innovative ways to drive business to the restaurants thru marketing layers, holiday specials etc
Turning no budget or low budget BEO’s into marketing layers
Manages all aspects of marketing events from conceptualization to execution, including securing event partners, sponsors, decor, staff attire, branded promotional giveaways, performers, costumes, social media outreach and promotions.
Reviews MEO in weekly meeting to ensure there are no questions from the operations and security teams.
Manages and orders standard weekly props and additional “special edition” prop/costume needs.
Drives ongoing web processes and improvements for SEO/SEM, audience engagement, and Senior Digital Marketing Manager
Develop, manage and implement on-line advertising/media plans for display, mobile, SEM, Social Networking advertising and Affiliate advertising.
attend weekly all-staff meetings to present upcoming events and key marketing initiatives to all line level staff at each nightclub and dayclub venue
Ensures timely and accurate invoicing and monitoring receivables for projects.
Tracks staff sick and vacation days with HR.
Keeps current with local organizations, influencers and events that could be potential partners.
Create, maintain, and manage relationships with brands and other event opportunities for the venues.

Manages all aspects of marketing events from conceptualization to execution, including securing event partners, sponsors, decor, staff attire, branded promotional giveaways, performers, costumes, social media outreach and promotions.
Reviews MEO in weekly meeting to ensure there are no questions from the operations and security teams.
Work to develop, pitch, and execute digital and experiential sponsorship offerings for brand clients.
Ensures timely and accurate invoicing and monitoring receivables for projects.
Keeps current with local organizations, influencers and events that could be potential partners.

Maintains artist marketing accounts by creating marketing plans and executing marketing events / promotions for specific resident DJs and artists.
Negotiates contracts with vendors who provide necessary event elements and services such as décor, entertainment, costumes, performers, branded promotional giveaways, etc.
Manages partnerships with philanthropical organizations
Works closely with hotel and resort staff on all marketing partnerships and initiatives.
Works with on property entertainment shows to create mutually beneficial partnerships.
As an integral part of the Resort Marketing team, all members of the marketing team will be expected to:

Help create and conceptualize marketing collateral and ads as needed.
Work with the graphics team to ensure content is kept on brand.
Work with the social media team and help create ideas and also help with new concepts to keep TAO Group cutting edge.
Brainstorm new ideas for marketing team of events and ways to reinvent the brand.
Stays current with all pop culture and current events and looks for opportunities to capitalize on trends through nightclub events.
Stays current with local organizations, influencers and events that could be potential partners.
Keep up to date on local and national trends including new DJ and celebrity talent to hire.
Continually seeks opportunities to exceed expectations and develop lasting client relationships.
Keeps projects moving smoothly through the strategy, creation, management, production, and execution of processes.
Ensures project deliverables meet and/or exceed internal and client expectations with respect to quality, budget, timelines, and strategy.
Assist with creative brainstorm meetings.
Liaise with Director of Marketing on upcoming digital initiatives.
Assist with the conceptualization, planning and execution of weekly events.
Assist in the creation of new and exciting content, including: graphics, photography and videography
