Cedar Fair is seeking a summer HR - Compensation Intern on the Corporate office in Sandusky, Ohio. This 12-week, paid internship provides hands-on experience in Compensation and work May - August for up to 30 hours per week. The Intern will assist in a compensation design project focused on job documentation, structure analysis, and organizational review.
Current college student in Bachelor or Masters degree program
GPA 3.0 or higher
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Self-motivated, ability to prioritize and multitask
Strong systems orientation, preferably experience with HR systems
Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
Courses or work experience with compensation regulations ideal

Reporting to the Corporate Compensation Manager, the Intern will:
Assist with the design, development, implementation and administration of compensation programs
Participate in activities such as benchmarking, market studies, reviewing salary structures, and maintaining updates
Work directly with business leaders and human resource business partners as it relates to compensation initiatives
Prepare reports for varied audiences
Assist in identifying and providing resolution to issues and concerns
