Required Skills and Qualifications
Graduate of RN Nursing School/Program
Current unencumbered California Registered Nurse license
Current BLS certification for Healthcare Providers
Two years recent pertinent clinical experience (Trauma/Neuro Progressive Care Unit and/or Trauma/Neuro Intensive Care Unit)

Preferred Skills and Qualifications
Bachelors of Science Degree in Nursing
Leadership experience: Trauma/Neuro PCU and/or ICU
Administrative/Supervisor Nurse experience: Trauma/Neuro PCU and/or ICU
Clinical Content expert: Trauma/Neuro PCU and/or ICU
Mentoring experience: Trauma/Neuro PCU and/or ICU

Clinical Nurse Lead - RN position offers great opportunity to widen your horizon in clinical competencies and nursing leadership. This role is dynamic and offers flexibility and opportunity for teaching, mentoring and leadership. This position demonstrates clinical competence and positive leadership and working collaboratively with the multi-disciplinary team. We are looking for a candidate who is motivated to participate in quality improvement unit activities, coach staff in compliance with behavior standards, enhancement of clinical performance and oversee daily operation of the department.
4-West is a 32-bed Trauma/Neuro Progressive Care Unit. Sharp Memorial Hospital has been designated as a San Diego County, Level 2 Trauma Center and received the American College of Surgeons Verification of Resources for Optimal Care of the Injured Patient. The Joint Commission's Certificate of Distinction as a Primary Stroke Center of Excellence has been achieved by the staff as a result of long term success in improving patient outcomes.
