Primary Job Function:
The Senior Financial Analyst role in Global Operations & QA is a new key position within the Transfusion Medicine Finance team. The individual will provide and drive financial support for Plans, LRPs, LBEs, the annual standard setting process, cost and inventory accounting, and support global projects. The position will have excellent exposure to both Division Financial as well as senior Operations leadership personnel.
The Senior Financial Analyst is the financial partner and counsel to Global Operations, Supply Chain and QA teams supporting a full range of controller-ship responsibilities including financial planning and analysis, cost accounting and special project support.
This position participates in strategic initiatives and provides financial information which enables timely and effective decision making.
Position is supporting the coordination, consolidation and development of Plan, LBE, LRP and other financial forecasts for the Global Operations and QA organization as well as the creation and presentation of monthly actuals dashboards and reporting packages.
Key aspects of the role are including the support of the Cost Accounting teams in the Transfusion Medicine manufacturing sites in the US and Germany, including participation in the annual standard cost setting cycle as well as other key activities and projects.
The position will also partner with and support TM Divisional groups in Supply Chain and Engineering for volume forecasting and analytics and TM capital planning, execution and cash flow management.
Minimum 4 years of progressive experience in finance/accounting.
Highly effective interpersonal skills, oral and written communication skills, and influencing skills as position interfaces with various levels across the organization (including senior management) in both finance and operations functions.
Prior experience in cost accounting/operations environment preferred.
