CACI is seeking a Command Action Officer(s) to work directly with the Program Executive Officer (PEO), Executive Director (ED) and Chief of Staff (CoS) of PEO Aircraft Carriers to resolve complex acquisition, production, and in-service challenges faced by the PEO and its three program offices - In-Service Aircraft Carrier Program Office (PMS 312), New Construction Aircraft Carrier Program Office (PMS 378), and Carrier Planning Activity (CPA).
We are seeking Junior, Mid-level, and Senior level candidates.
What You’ll Get to Do:
You will work with the PEO and program office personnel to develop PEO briefings, point papers, and action item responses.
Attend meetings, prepare meeting agendas and material, draft and administer/distribute minutes, copy and distribute documentation, and develop and maintain files.
You will manage the PEO/ED action item tracker within Microsoft OneNote.
You will review and summarize all PEO/ED action item packages, including supporting documentation, for completeness, ensuring that all appropriate stakeholders have provided any necessary input.
You will also build the condensed or summarized action item package for PEO/ED review and act.
More About the Role:
You will provide direct support to senior leadership within PEO Aircraft Carries, to include the PEO, ED, CoS, and the respective program office (PMS 312, PMS 378, and CPA) Program Managers (PMs), Deputy Program Managers (DPMs), and Principal Assistant Program Managers (PAPMs), to ensure acquisition, production and in-service challenges are addressed.
Accept daily tasking from PEO Aircraft Carriers leadership to enable PEO Carriers maintains its mission to deliver aircraft carriers on-time, ready for tasking, at an affordable cost.
You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
Minimum of 7-10 years’ experience supporting Ship Programs for mid-level.
Active DoD Security Clearance (Required)
Prior Program Office support Proficiency with MS Office Suite US Navy Correspondence
