Position summary: General (The following apply to all Quality Leads): 1. Adhere to and enforce all requirements of the CPI Safety Program. 2. Adhere to and enforce all CPI security requirements including counting and documenting the disposition of all cards to and from the operation.
3. Adhere to and enforce all requirements of the CPI Quality Management System. 4. Adhere to all requirements of the CPI Workmanship Manual.
5. Coordination with production supervision and machine operators regarding completion and reporting of inspection activities 6. Willingness to work flexible hours as required. Quality Lead 1.

Train and instruct Quality Technicians 4. Address issues reported by the Quality Techs and operators. Identify resolution path, containment, preventative action and report to Quality Manager. 5.
Ability to read and interpret job tickets and all applicable internal and external specifications 6. Perform product audits at defined intervals; complete data entry to track results 7. Perform process audits at defined intervals; complete data entry to track results 8. Initiation of nonconformance and Quality Alert documentation (based on audit results) 9.
Perform containment and/or immediate corrective action activities when non-conformances are found 10. Perform inspection of customer samples or other test cards to ensure conformance to all applicable requirements 11. Assist with data collection for Gage R&R studies 12. Assist with data collection for capability studies 13.
Participate in continuous improvement teams and projects 14. Evaluate performance of Quality Technicians and perform performance appraisals. 15. Other data collection activities as required 16.
Assist Quality Manager and/or Quality Engineer with internal and external corrective action investigations 17. Participate in the internal audit process per CPI and ISO requirements 18. Participate in the 5S program 19. Complete incoming inspection on received raw materials as required 20.
Perform internal calibrations of measurement and test equipment 21. Ability to analyze and interpret shop floor data and initiate corrective and preventive action as necessary 22. Ability to maintain daily, weekly, and monthly reports and publish data to supervisors and the Management Team 23. Lead continuous improvement projects and initiatives in support of the continuous improvement strategies 24.
Assist with new material qualification testing and evaluation 25. Assist the Quality Manager in implementing and maintaining the Business Management System 26. Create, revise, and/or maintain quality documentation and records as needed 27. Processing, follow-up, and closeout of nonconformance reports Ancillary Responsibilities 1.
