We are seeking a high caliber accounting professional responsible for all aspects of financial management, including corporate accounting, regulatory and financial reporting, budget and forecasts preparation, general ledger as well as development of internal control policies and procedures.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
Manage all accounting operations including Billing, A/R, A/P, GL, Inventory Accounting and Revenue Recognition
Coordinate and direct the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts and report variances
Prepare and publish timely monthly financial statements
Coordinate the preparation of regulatory reporting
Support month-end and year-end close process
Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting
Guide financial decisions by establishing, monitoring, and enforcing policies and procedures
Provide support to management, particularly in commercial and financial matters
Manage and comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings
Develop and document business and accounting processes to maintain and strengthen internal controls
Manage the company administration and financial departments
Additional controller duties as necessary

QUALIFICATIONS:
Proven working experience as a controller
5+ years of overall combined accounting and finance experience
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related field required
CPA or advanced degree in accounting preferred
Experience with creating financial statements
Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year end close process
Excellent accounting software user and administration skills (Sage)
Knowledge of payroll, accounts payable, and accounts receivable functions
Ability to deliver quality work on tight deadlines, with strong organization and prioritization skills
Advanced computer skills, specifically in Excel
Must be able to communicate financial information into sound business language so people of all levels can understand
Knowledge of federal regulations on taxes and tax reporting

COMPENSATION / BENEFITS:
$90,000 - $110,000 annually
