The Maserati and Alfa Romeo Senior Network Development Manager is responsible for leading the Maserati North America and Alfa Romeo Network Development strategy and implementation for the North America region. The Manager will manage a team of employees that collectively lead and analysis, in the US and Canada, for dealer development opportunities and implement effective strategies that ensure proper brand representation in all required retail markets. The Manager will proactively work with the dealer network field teams and dealers to insure adherence to all policies, procedures and dealer agreement metrics. He/she will lead implementation of dealer performance upgrades through facility expansions, relocations and renovations. This role also leads the Maserati Academy, managing a team of employees including field trainers for creation, implementation and execution of dealership staff sales and aftersales non-technical training certification. This position reports to both the Head of FCA Dealer Network Operations and Head of Maserati North America.
Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or Marketing or similar discipline required
10+ years of combined experience in marketing, service/parts, automotive OEM sales, or network development
Ability to analyze dealer representation in the marketplace using all available metrics
Ability to creatively think to build the network, develop sound network market plans
The ability to assess brand needs, prioritize them and have the motivation to address them
Proven experience in the design, development and/or implantation of curricula
High level of professionalism; self-directed and motivated
Strong Team leadership and communications skills (written and verbal)
Master's degree in Business, Finance, or Marketing or similar discipline
Possess a strong portfolio of dealer relationships
Experience using a Learning Management System
Experience understanding legal documents and franchise law
Bring creative ideas, solutions and translate them into actions
Network development, sales, or service and parts experience with other automotive OEM's
Experience with luxury brands or hospitality
