Showroom Consultative Sales Associate:
Base plus Commission. No Draw.

Job Description:
The consultative selling associate is responsible for selling and servicing customers. This position exists to provide positive frontline contact with the customer. This person must listen, discover and understand customers’ needs. To educate customers on options available, provide customer assistance and support our customers after the sale, while delivering satisfying and positive customer experiences. The associate will also support customers in handling their issues and concerns as they arise on the sales floor. The Consultative Sales Associate is responsible for enhancing the experience of customers and driving profitable sales by providing proactive consultative sales assistance and support to the customer, achieving department standards and goals, and performing sales-support activities to maintain a clean, in-stock, orderly and well-merchandised sales floor for conducting sales activities.

JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

Provides the highest degree of customer service by making the customer the priority; this includes stopping other merchandising tasks to assist members.

Greets customers as they enter the store and utilizes approved selling practices and guidelines to determine customer need and match with appropriate product and/or services.

Strives to deliver a WOW customer experience every time, and seeks feedback to ensure they are delivering the right experience, and understand how to improve.

*
Takes ownership for enhancing the customer experience, and assists with customer concerns utilizing the right resources in resolving concerns and complaints, and escalates concerns as needed.

*
Drives profitable revenue growth by using selling and customer service skills and abilities. This includes completing sales, returns, exchanges and payments through accurate and efficient use of our point-of-sale systems

Executes prescribed operational and selling processes effectively to ensure all sales performance standards are met and stays up to date on changes.

*
Maintains thorough knowledge of products and services; provides appropriate matching of features and benefits of these products and services to meet the customer’s needs

*
Optimizes miscellaneous income opportunities including protection agreements, leasing and credit.

*
Stays current and understands the implications of upcoming events, product updates, selling process requirements, and Company/business initiatives.

*
Responsible for keeping the store ready all day and ensuring the sales floor is easy to shop, in stock, clean, signed and organized for customers.

*
Sets non-promotional, promotional, and seasonal signing, including store-wide and event signing and performs promotional ad setup/take down process without error and omissions.

*
Sets and maintains sales floor to prescribed HAS presentation standards including merchandise preparation, setup and signing

*
Makes and serves coffee and cookies to customers when necessary

Follows the established elements of the HAS Culture

Achieves and maintains appropriate levels of learning standards through Inspired to Learn takes advantage of additional training opportunities.

Performs other duties as assigned.
