Job Purpose:
Solicit, price, and coordinate the sale of moving and storage services in the local Colorado Springs, CO market and surrounding areas.

Essential Duties:
Recommend services to customers, based on their needs
Estimate or quote prices, contract terms, and valuation
Prepare bids that meet specific customer needs
Answer customers’ questions regarding services, prices, and payment terms
Establishes and maintains customer relationships. Learns and evaluates customers to aid in identifying customer objectives, requirements and preferences
Purse self-generated business that is outside the realm of already established customer base
Identify prospective customers by using business directories, following leads from existing clients, participating in organizations and clubs, and attending conferences
Collaborate with colleagues to exchange information on selling strategies
Monitor market conditions and competitors’ products, prices, and sales
Able to meet individual sales goals on a monthly basis
Create and update a current target list of current and new prospects
Review goals, forecasts, clients, and prospective opportunities with the sales manager on a monthly basis
Ability to exhibit a positive, friendly and helpful attitude with customers and to be sensitive to their needs
Excellent attendance record required

Education/Experience:
High school diploma or two-year technical degree or more preferred
Customer oriented and motivated with excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and deadlines
Strong leadership and organizational skills
Excellent negotiation skills, interpersonal skills and ability to drive decisions with influence
Experience in moving & storage sales
Experience primarily hunting new customers
