Pacific Coast Botanicals is seeking an experienced Cannabis Extraction Technician to join our team in Rio Vista. In this role, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining ETS hydrocarbon extraction machines and producing high-quality cannabis concentrates, including badder, butter, sugar, wax, and live resin.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate ETS hydrocarbon extraction equipment to process cannabis into various concentrates
- Produce badder, butter, sugar, wax, and live resin with precision and consistency
- Perform routine cleaning, calibration, and maintenance of all extraction equipment
- Monitor and ensure the quality of cannabis extracts throughout the process
- Follow SOPs meticulously for each step in the extraction and post-processing stages
- Adhere to strict safety protocols when handling hazardous materials and gases
- Document and track all batches, process variables, and yields for quality control
- Collaborate with the team to continuously improve extraction processes and maintain a clean, sterile working environment
Requirements:
- Experience operating ETS hydrocarbon extraction systems is required
- Strong knowledge of producing badder, butter, sugar, wax, and live resin
- Familiarity with hydrocarbon or ethanol extraction methods is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow SOPs precisely
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment (must be able to lift 50 lbs)
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or in a team
Physical & Work Environment:
- Must be able to stand for long periods, bend, squat, and lift heavy objects
- Comfortable working with hazardous materials in a controlled laboratory environment
- Exposure to bright lights, loud machinery, and extreme temperatures at times
