Summary of Major Responsibilities Application Quality Assurance Analyst – SAP is responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive Test Strategy and Plan for an SAP initiative, migrating from the ECC platform to the S/4HANA platform. This role requires strong testing leadership and extensive SAP knowledge. This role is a mentor to other members of the IT QA team throughout the financial and operational projects. The purpose of this role is to ensure the new processes and design of the organization’s core financial components meet the requirements defined by the business and have achieved the business goals of streamlining our reporting processes and enhancing our governance.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Works with Application Quality Assurance and Information Technology teams to develop and maintain standards, processes, and documentation
  • Identifies business needs and assist in recommendations for technology solutions
  • Acts as a resource for employees by providing insight, recommendations, and assistance with technical and non-technical questions
  • Promotes the role and capabilities of IT to enhance the professional development of all Exact Sciences employees through example, recommendation, and accommodation
  • Attends annual systems user conferences and training sessions as appropriate
  • Special projects as business needs require
Summary of Major Responsibilities
  • Lead a test team to successfully deliver a quality SAP S/4 HANA implementation leveraging industry best practices
  • Manage testing activities such as functional, integration (30+ systems), data migration with (legacy ECC to SAP S/4 HANA) to ensure data integrity and no loss of data, end to end, automation, performance and regression (for quarterly or other project releases)
  • Create and execute automated and performance testing strategy leveraging outsourced team.
  • Drive efficiency and effectiveness of team resources, processes, and tools including onshore and offshore supplier resources
  • On time and on budget QA delivery according to overall QA project plan
  • Detailed and measurable team specific work plans, status reports, and WIRID (risk, issue decision) items that align to guidelines from PM and drive team reporting
  • Adherence to Exact Sciences’ quality processes, procedures and standards
  • Effective and consistent representation of QA team, standards and procedures across ERP Program

Qualifications Minimum Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, science or information technology, or equivalent education and work experience
  • A minimum of 4 years of related work experience in Software Quality Assurance
  • Experience testing against SAP FI, MM, and PP modules
  • Experience leading testing efforts under the SAP Activate or similar methodology
  • Ability to identify and mitigate risks in the quality plan, schedule, scope and approach
  • Ability to react to changing project plans and come up with creative alternatives
  • Reviewing supplier deliverables and providing feedback and direction with respect to quality and validation
  • Preparing and managing the project testing schedule
  • Preparing and facilitating the implementation of test plans
  • Defect Management and Analysis
  • Excellent communication (written, verbal)
  • Organizational, planning, and analytical skills
  • Ability to work in a collaborative “team-oriented” environment

Desired Characteristics
  • Experience leading all phases of QA effort required to execute large SAP implementations
  • Experience with FDA validation testing
  • Experience managing an outsourced testing engagement on SAP S/4 HANA system and business processes including O2C, P2P, GL Accounting
  • Experience implementing and leveraging SAP test automation tools
  • Experience working in Scrum- Agile teams
  • Experience with test automation for cloud implementations
  • Experience with SAP COPA module and SAP Business Planning & Consolidations
  • Data Compare Tool (Informatica DVO or similar)
  • Test Data Management Tool (i.e. Informatica TDM or similar)
