The Role
Our team is looking for a Tax Accountant to join us full-time. As a Tax Accountant, you will have
an instrumental role in preparing mostly corporation (1120) and partnership (1065) tax returns
for our fast-growing and innovative clients, as well as advising on tax strategy. You will also play
an instrumental role in setting up our future tax department, establishing processes, hiring
future team members, etc. as GSP continues to grow.

Responsibilities
 Complete all aspects of accounting and tax engagements for clients and adhere to all
quality control standards as required
 Demonstrate understanding of the client’s business including analysis and planning of
client engagements
 Adhere to engagement budget constraints and complete assigned tasks within the time
requested, explain variances when needed
 Review associates’ accounting work: provide constructive review points
 Leverage industry knowledge and business acumen to identify cross-serve opportunities
for clients

Qualifications
 +2 years experience in public accounting or related field
 Ability to manage deadlines, work on multiple assignments and prioritize assignments

 Strong work ethic.
 Thrives in fast-paced, ever-evolving environment.
 Works cooperatively with others and values the different contributions people make.
 Ability to work well and make decisions under pressure.
 Excellent interpersonal skills; communication both internally and externally must be
clear, concise, and considerate of the needs of others.
 Positive attitude and self-motivation!
