Ideally we seek 2 attorneys - 1 IP Litigation and 1 IP Patent & Prosecution Attorney. Ideal if you're: technical, technology focused, interested in computer science, mechanics, mechanical engineering, physics, etc.

One of the country’s best law firms and a top 5 New York City firm is looking to hire an IP Associate Attorney for their Intellectual Property Patent Prosecution department and another for their IP Litigation group. This is a general practice firm with a range of domestic and international clients. The Associate should be capable of handling patent prosecution matters in various "technical fields". Responsibilities include preparing and prosecuting patent applications, managing patent portfolios, conducting validity and infringement studies, and supporting patent litigation, licensing and due diligence for corporate transactions. The industry ranges from consumer electronics to financial services, from apparel and retailing to semiconductors and MEMS, life sciences and medical devices.

The ideal candidate has a degree in engineering, physics, chemistry or a related discipline and excellent academic credentials. Another plus is Blockchain, Internet of Things, Authentication, Financial Services, Mobile Apps, Computer Security, AI/ML? The candidate for this position preferably has 2-3 or more years of patent prosecution and is a registered patent attorney or eligible to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. Experience as a patent examiner is a plus. NY Bar admission required.

Salary to commensurate with experience plus an excellent bonus and benefits packages is offered as well.
