WSP, an award‑winning and innovative multidisciplinary engineering consulting firm, has an opening for a CADD Operator I for our Briarcliff Manor, NY office. WSP | PB works closely with private and public agencies from around the world on large, complex infrastructure and transportation projects. The CAD Operator I will be responsible for supporting transportation design/production teams. Responsibilities include: -Working closely with designers to complete both structural and highway projects. -Support Briarcliff Manor NY staff in use of MicroStation for Transportation projects. -Assist Briarcliff Manor staff in use of MicroStation including trouble-shooting of CAD issues. -Assist in in-house CAD training and lessons-learned seminars. -Consultation and light assistance with configuration of new CAD workstations. -Help manage Plot configurations for CAD platforms. -Assist with management of remote workstation pool; software installs, managing user access. -Help develop new employee MicroStation orientation procedure and materials. -Participate in project discussions on Engineer collaboration, CAD goals etc.
0 – 1 years related experience (including internships, co-op programs) in a professional services environment, preferably in an Engineering firm
BS degree in related discipline preferred
Proficiency with CAD standards from MTA, NYSDOT NJTA, and NJDOT required.
MicroStation experience (Structural and Transportation preferred, Architecture or MEP also considered),
Extensive MicroStation CAD experience required (Inroads proficiency also preferred).
Understanding of MicroStation customization preferred
AutoCad experience preferred (Structural and Transportation preferred, Architecture or MEP also considered)
Candidates should possess effective verbal and written communication skills, strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Candidate must be able to work in the United States on a full-time permanent basis immediately
