JOB SUMMARY: The intern will work and support the Advanced Technology Team. Supports the development of Advanced Technology platforms and will support Advanced Technology efforts within Universal Creative project teams.
Research and analysis of technologies
Writing scopes of work
Development and integration of technologies including prototype mock – ups
Prepare technical documentation including test and design templates
Participate in project creative development and assist with vendor demonstrations
Assist in furthering development technology platforms
Understands and actively participates in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy, procedures, training and team member involvement activities.
Performs other duties as assigned.
In pursuit of an Associate, Bachelor or Graduate degree at an Accredited Institution with current class standing of Junior or above.
Recent graduates will not be eligible for this program.
Minimum cumulative 3.0 GPA is preferred.
An official transcript may be required upon request.
Preferred majors may include: Graphic Design, Computer Science/Software Engineering, Theater, Game Design, Digital Media, Industrial Design, Mechanical Engineering, Optical Engineering, Electrical/Computer Engineering, or Systems Engineering.
Preferable skills for success in role includes but not limited to:
Proficient in graphic design, UI/UX development, or game design
Must be efficient in Microsoft Office Programs including, but not limited to: Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
For Electrical Engineering track: Electronics design, system integration, wireless communication, and peripheral and Inter – process Communication integration focusde
For Mechanical Engineering track: technology and industrial design focus
For Mobil app development: experience with C#, .Net, Swift, or Object C
Exceptional attention to detail.
Interest in technology, theme park development, and experience design
Strong interpersonal skills, problem-solving abilities and organization.
Superior written & verbal communication skills.
Work in a fast-paced environment and adhere to deadlines.
Ability to work autonomously and/or in teams.
