This flexible, highly adaptable, and organized individual will be part of the Biosciences Marketing Operations team providing critical support to the marketing organization and running key processes and projects. They will help support the global and divisional marketing teams across five separate businesses and five major geographical regions.

The focus of this role is to help maintain and manage many of the operational mechanisms for BID marketing. A critical component of this position is that once the foundational elements of the job have been acquired, this position is meant to grow in responsibilities and duties. Process improvement is key to this role. This position gives the individual access to the senior leaders of marketing and the regions which is a great opportunity. Given this access, it is imperative this person understands the importance of paying close attention to details and is a quick learner. As in many operational roles, an individual must also be skilled in problem solving, and even more importantly, begin to anticipate problems or challenges before they present themselves.

Key Responsibilities:
Provide administrative support to the BID marketing groups in the form of managing meetings/calendar invites, organize notes/action items, and additional tasks as necessary for those meetings ran by BID marketing operations
Assist with divisional weekly, monthly and quarterly operating mechanisms including staff meetings, business reviews and others as needed
Help maintain team trackers critical to managing budgets for the divisional marketing team. They will be working closely with finance and accounting ensuring we have complete visibility to our forecast and actual budgets. Proactively provides analysis and insights on marketing spend.
Manage divisional intranet site, including archiving, organizing, and tracking all content and provide training to page and content owners as necessary
Assist with logistics for internal and external events including marketing team meetings, tradeshows and conferences, award ceremonies and others
Over time, will establish and own key processes for the division as the marketing organization continues to grow and develop.
Other projects and tasks as assigned
Travel may be required (up to 10%)

Required Qualifications:
Highly detail oriented and reliable with strong organizational and communication (written and verbal) skills
Problem solving abilities – be able to look at current situations or processes and creatively think through how we can improve
An analytical thinker is needed – given this individual will be heavily involved with budgeting and working with finance, someone who can work quickly and efficiently with numbers is required
Ability to efficiently prioritize – there are many times we have deadlines and deliverables that overlap and need a person who can look at the larger picture and prioritize in an effective manner
4 years’ experience in marketing, marketing communication, marketing analytics, or related areas. Would consider alternate backgrounds with related skill sets including research or similar experience
Project management skills
Proficient with excel and PowerPoint
Experience with marketing analytics and related areas preferred
Analytical thinking skills
Desire to learn and work across multiple teams
