At FutureCare our Clinical Dietitians provide medical nutrition therapy, nutrition assessment, diet modification, education, and intervention for our resident population. The Clinical Dietitian follows strict guidelines as outlined with FutureCares diet manual and the clinical nutrition policies & procedures manual.

Responsibilities:
As a member of the Clinical Care plan team and the Nutrition Services Department, the Clinical Dietitian will primarily interact with Nursing, other clinical services, and the Management team. The Dietitian is responsible for reviewing menus, therapeutic diets and other aspects associated with delivering proper nutrition to each and every resident.
Qualifications:
- Current Registered Dietician license in the state of Maryland

Bachelor's degree with a major in Food and Nutrition, Dietetics, or a related field

At least 2 years’ experience as a dietitian, preferred

Knowledge of the Nutrition Care Process and ability to apply all steps of the process

A strong desire to deliver care in an empathetic, compassionate way

Previous experience working in a skilled nursing facility highly desired

Superb organizational and time management skills

Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills

Ability to counsel and educate others

Decision making, problem solving and collaboration skills a plus
