The Intern will support the Continuity Programs Staff om coordination and implementation of the Continuity Program for the Board and it's divisions and offices. The incumbent will assist with the build-out and enhancement of the COOP Program along with alternate relocation sites and with a focus on Board Devolution of functions to the the FRS Banks and System elements. In addition to the focus on Board COOP, there will be required FEMA on-line training opportunities to augment the summer work experience.
The Intern will assist the team with the detailed development of the Board-Bank coordination to ensure the planning and conduct of Board essential functions leveraging partnerships with Bank Business Continuity Officer teams as well as Board staff coordinating with functional team counter parts at the Bank who will assume Board functions in certain situations. The position will involve development and refinement of procedures, plans and documents. Development and testing for training and drills. Support to the updated and refinement of an automated continuity Plan document.
The incumbent must be organized, possess professional writing skills, the ability to multi-task and to work independently. This internship will be customized to meet the needs of the team while tailoring the activities to the interests and preferences of the intern, when possible.
