Position Overview:
We are looking for an experienced Controller to oversee our financial operations while also playing a critical role in managing backend operations. This position will drive operational efficiency, support compliance, and ensure that all financial and operational processes run smoothly. The Controller will be instrumental in managing accounting, employee benefits, compliance, and internal systems, contributing to the overall success and scalability of the company.
Key Responsibilities:
Accounting & Financial Oversight: Manage all accounting functions, including budgeting, forecasting, payroll, and financial reporting.
Employee Benefits: Oversee company benefits such as health insurance, 401(k) plans, and ensure timely implementation of new offerings.
Licensing & Compliance: Ensure that remains compliant with all licensing and regulatory requirements within the cannabis industry.
Agent & Policy Database: Manage and optimize the database for agents and policyholders to improve operational efficiency.
Operational Efficiency & Budget Management: Drive efficiency across the company by developing and maintaining operational processes and managing the company budget.
Team & Client Relations: Collaborate with internal teams to support client needs and ensure smooth backend operations.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance 5+ years’ experience in the area
Big 4 accounting experience is a plus
Proforma creation and help financial forecasting
Proficiency with current financial software

Pay: $92,344.00 - $120,392.00 per year
