Due to Satterfield & Pontikes continued growth we are adding a Safety Specialist to our Dallas team. Reporting to our Safety Manager you will focus on our Dallas ISD projects.

Requirements:
1+ years in safety with a commercial general contractor.
The role you will play:
- Employee and subcontractors safety-related meetings and presentations
- Review all accident/incident investigation reports for completeness and accuracy
- Publish lessons learned from near misses, accidents, and incidents
- Oversee walk-through inspections at project sites with project personnel; provide technical guidance and expertise to Project Managers and Superintendents
- Conduct comprehensive reviews of sites to ensure compliance with OSHA and other regulatory agency standards and company policies
- Primary contact and responsible for direct communication with OSHA and all safety regulatory agencies
- Develop programs for monitoring subcontractor safety performance
- Regular job site attendance required
- Other duties as assigned.
