This is an in-person position, offering the opportunity to work closely with our dynamic team and make a tangible difference in our financial processes.Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
- Conduct general ledger reconciliation and ensure accuracy of accounts
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
- Assist with regulatory reporting requirements and ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations
- Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable functions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline financial processes and improve efficiency
- Support the Controller in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
- Assist in the implementation and maintenance of accounting systems (Xero, QuickBooks)
- Perform account reconciliations and resolve any discrepancies or issues
- Contribute to the development of financial policies and procedures
- Stay updated on industry trends, accounting standards, and best practices
