Position Summary: The Legal Department provides legal advice and guidance to the company and handles a wide variety of legal issues, including, among other things, contract drafting and review, corporate law, legislation, civil law, administrative law, labor law and personnel matters. The candidate will assist the Legal Department in reviewing documents and researching a wide variety of legal topics. Each legal document must be analyzed in the context of the ultimate intention of the document in terms of risk, value, and purpose. The successful candidate will be able to, among other things, identify contract issues, analyze complex legal material quickly and accurately, and provide an appropriate and timely response. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

Contract drafting and review

Read and analyze complex documents

Legal research and writing

Drafting of legal memoranda and legal letters

Review and indexing of files and records

Qualifications (educational, experience and basic knowledge requirements):

Enrolled and in good standing in an accredited law school

GPA of at least 3.0 on a 4.0 scale

Knowledge of Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint

Availability to work 40 hours a week during June and July 2018

Superior work ethic, well organized and able to manage numerous projects simultaneously

A critical thinker with problem-solving and decision-making skills

Strong organization and time-management skills

Good interpersonal skills

Good legal research and writing skills

Working Conditions:
Travel Requirements: Flexibility to travel between Newark and Philadelphia as necessary
