As the Insights Sr. Manager with E. & J. Gallo winery, you will be responsible for leading consumer & shopper research, including defining, designing, and executing testing in collaboration with internal and external partners. Additionally, you will integrate data from multiple sources to provide strategic leadership for existing & new business. You will act as a leader within the broader Cπ organization, bringing new tools and consumer research methodologies to the organization

What You Will Do-

Identifies knowledge gaps and develops annual and long-term Insight & Research learning plan
Understands key business priorities and drivers, tests hypotheses, and delivers actionable insights, or proposes new areas for investigation
Functions as the consumer & shopper expert in providing influence and guidance to senior management on projects and programs
Assists the Insights & Innovation team, as appropriate, to generate design territories, evaluate designs and provide refinement direction based on consumer learning
Supports stakeholder teams by delivering deep understanding of consumers, including segmentations/targeting, how they use the product/service, category, adjacent categories, and brands. Provide actionable recommendations to drive growth
Designs and executes appropriate consumer shopper market research, interprets data and provides cohesive solutions to complex business and marketing issues leveraging insights from all sources of information, including consumer research, wine style and product guidance, consumer affairs, sales and marketing analysis
Leads the research design & execution, ensuring accurate implementation of consumer research projects with internal and external corporate research partners, maintaining corporate consumer research test databases, and developing new research methodologies as needed
What You Need-

High school diploma or State-issued equivalency certificate
Master’s Degree plus 6 years of marketing research and data analysis experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility OR Bachelor’s Degree plus 8 years of marketing research and data analysis experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility OR 12 years of marketing research and data analysis experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility
Experience conducting market research for a consumer-driven organization
Computer skills requirements include: MS Outlook, MS Word, MS Excel, MS Project and MS PowerPoint
What Will Set You Apart-

Master’s Degree plus 8 years of marketing research and data analysis experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility OR Bachelor’s degree plus 10 years of marketing research and data analysis experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility
Experience in the Alcohol Beverage industry
Alcohol- Beverage industry experience
Experience with white space exploration, early ideation and new brand development
Background in creative development/ graphics design, agency side experience (planning, strategy, art direction, copy writing)
Experience moderating qualitative discussions
Product development/ sensory sciences/ product testing knowledge.
Background in Social Sciences
