The OrusGroup is hiring an System Analyst in the Metro DC Area in support of our Federal clients
**Only applicants that are US Citizens local to the Metro Washington, DC Area will be considered**
Must have a degree in Computer Science or information technology field information technology experience, with a focus on large-scale technical architecture, information security, project management, solutions design & implementation is preferred.
Must be a US Citizen and hold an active security clearance (or be eligible to obtain one)
5+ years of experience in system analysis, problem solving, and business process improvement.
The System Analyst assists in the design and management of client organization's systems, applications, policies, and strategy. The System Analyst assists in the development of scalable architecture to support applications and infrastructure on IaaS and PaaS platforms. The System Analyst assists in the evaluation of the best cloud solutions for our clients. Incorporates security management and privacy requirements into cloud hardware, software, and applications.
Experience in written and/or verbal communication (reports) to peers, stakeholders, and management is essential.
Skills/Responsibilities Overview
Analyzes business process issues and/or problems and provides consulting assistance to system users; conducts research on possible solutions and makes recommendations based on findings; develops recommendations that outline feasibility and costs; suggests, designs, tests, implements, and evaluates solutions.
Excellent interpersonal skills with a proven ability to collaborate with a team. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Extensive knowledge of computer systems. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
- Adequate experience in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including requirements gathering, analysis, design, implementation, testing, and deployment.
- Knowledgeable in Cloud technologies such as AWS
- Extensive knowledge of computer systems and programming.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a proven ability to collaborate with a team.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Analyze business process issues and provides consulting assistance to system users.
- Conduct research on possible solutions and making recommendations based on findings.

- Implement quality assurance standards and processes for validation and verification efforts.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $90,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
