Performs overnight polysomnographic studies in the Adult Sleep Center located at the Boston Newton Marriott. Performs home sleep study set ups and CPAP clinics at the sleep center. Analyzes data, scores polysomnograms, and complies data into a report for physician review. Tracks inventory and alerts Operations Manager of supply shortages. Participates in QI/QA activities.
Education: High school graduate and graduate of an electroneurodiagnostic technology program accredited by the Committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation or equivalent formal training. At least 2 years of college is preferable.
Requirements: Registry by the Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists, 3 to 5 years experience in polysomnography, CPR certification and knowledge of the special needs and behaviors of adults and older adult patients.
