Patient Services Representative

The Patient Services Representative communicates directly with individuals and couples who are interested in learning more about the assisted reproductive technologies offered at Boston IVF. This individual will be responsible for handling new patient incoming calls and web inquiries, assisting patients with appointment booking and logistics. This role requires empathy, excellent telephone skills, professionalism, extraordinary customer service skills, as well as exceptional appointment conversion capabilities.

In this role you will provide information to patients in ways that are easily understood and processed by non-medical professionals. You will be a part of the marketing team and work directly with various Boston IVF team members to obtain pertinent information that may be beneficial to prospective patients.

Job responsibilities include

  • Telephone interactions
  • Answer web and phone line inquiries from prospective fertility patients
  • Provide general pre-treatment path advice, treatment/technologies info, and Boston IVF-practice information
  • Schedule initial consultations in scheduling system
  • Reporting and tracking of all patient referral sources and interactions

Job requirements and skills include:

  • An exceptional and upbeat phone manner
  • Call center representative experience, preferably in healthcare environment working directly with patients on a one on one level
  • Multi-lingual skills preferred
  • Experience with a customer relationship management (CRM) software system a plus
