Under direct supervision, this position is responsible for the receipt and processing of orders for blood products, transportation of products to and from the appropriate location. Transportation of unprocessed products and sample tubes to the laboratory for processing, receipt of imported blood products, returns, and transfers of inventory from one distribution location to another. Provides excellent customer service to all customers and ensures proper documentation of all processes.
Education and Experience
High School Diploma or GED.
Hospital Services Technician l: Experience in material handling and driving preferred. Experience in loading/unloading preferred.
MUST PASS PRE-EMPLOYMENT BACKGROUND CHECK AND DRUG SCREEN.
