Overview

Marshall & Associates, LLC (PM&A) is an established, dynamic engineering firm and has an immediate opening for a full-time, qualified and self-motivated Mechanical Engineer focused in the design of heating, ventilating and air-conditioning systems for facilities including municipal, commercial office, food service, retail development, and multi-family markets.

In this role, the candidate will have the opportunity to join a team of top-notch mechanical, electrical, plumbing and fire protection engineers.

Responsibilities

As a mechanical engineer, the candidate will provide the technical capabilities necessary to completely design HVAC systems for facilities under the direct supervision of a licensed professional engineer. The candidate will be responsible for everyday project activities, quality control and project delivery including construction documents and specification production. The candidate will assist senior engineering staff in meeting marketing goals, revenue projections and overall client expectations. The candidate will also serve as project engineer when dictated by project size, complexity or client request.

Qualifications:

  • 1-2 years of mostly self-directed experience in HVAC system design related to commercial building construction and permitting.
  • Extensive proficiency using AutoCAD LT 2016 or comparable version
  • Experience working in multi-discipline teams (HVAC, Plumbing, Electrical, Architectural, etc.)
  • Proven demonstration of task ownership and the ability to meet technical requirements and work schedule.
  • Ability to perform heating/cooling load calculations using Carrier HAP, Trane Trace, or similar software.
  • Proficiency using Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Basic knowledge and general understanding of building codes related to engineering design.
  • BSME from an ABET accredited engineering program and Revit experience, preferred but not required

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $50,000.00 to $60,000.00 /year
