JOB SUMMARY:

At Children’s Learning Adventure, we remain committed in bringing the highest quality early childhood and school-age academic enrichment to our children and their families. The Customer Service Specialist is a member of our corporate team whose primary role is enrolling prospective families into our programs while providing outstanding customer service to every person that walks in our doors. The Customer Service Specialist is a key leader at our school who observes great working relationships with families, center staff, and corporate personnel. As the first point of contact for new families, this individual must assess family needs and provide appropriate information on specific programs available. In addition to enrolling families, our ideal candidate will exceed expectations for delivering customer acquisition and retention.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Coach and develop staff to reflect growing demand for enrollments
  • Responsible for enrolling all prospective families
  • Conduct campus tours
  • Have a concrete understanding of all program and operation information
  • Maintain consistent contact and communication with families interested in learning more about Children's Learning Adventure via e-mail and phone (leads include past and present family inquiries)
  • Models and imbeds company mission and values into all operations (i.e., CLA Mission, Values and Guiding principles)
  • Partners with Regional Managers and Center Directors to create and implement plans and strategies that result in increased enrollment
  • Implements sales and service strategies to ensure enrollment growth and retention of existing families
  • Accurately maintains and submits enrollment and marketing data
  • Provides the highest level of customer service for families

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Education or related field required
  • Sales experience required
  • Marketing experience preferred
  • Previous management experience preferred
  • Familiar with Salesforce desired
  • Knowledge of state licensing desired
  • Demonstrated skills in sales and customer service
  • Demonstrated consistency in exceeding goals
  • Applies analytical and problem-solving skills appropriately
  • Strong customer orientation
  • Efficient with time management
  • Proficient writing and interpersonal skills
  • Computer literate in Microsoft applications (i.e., Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Must possess charismatic and gregarious personality
  • Competitive and thrives under pressure to meet deadlines
  • Willing to travel
  • Comfortable with public speaking

Specific demands of this job include, but, are not limited to the following:

  • Must be able to lift a minimum of 40 pounds
  • Able to be physically active on your feet for long periods of time
  • Overnight travel to company or other professional conferences or meetings is occasionally required
  • Limited space is provided for adult administrative purposes (i.e., check-in area, small office equipment area)
