Who You’ll Work with:
You will work with a dynamic team of IT professionals on new Products. You will report to the Vice President of Technology and Product.

Your Responsibilities:
You will be responsible for providing the overall technical architecture, direction and vision for a suite of products. You will partner with the Product Manager on defining the architecture for our suite of products. In addition, you will provide technical guidance to internal staff within the company at the program and project levels as well as provide technical leadership to perform evaluations and feasibility reviews of concepts and technology solutions.

Additionally, you will:
Be responsible for the technical development and integrity of digital projects using C#, Angular JS, MVC and SQL
Lead a team of on-shore and off-shore development resources as well as provide the code for critical pieces of applications
Oversee scoping, identification of project deliverables, and creation of project specific documentation such as functional specifications, technical specifications, etc.
Proactively work with project managers to ensure appropriate resources are assigned, put in place and effectively utilized
Qualify and provide definition to technical strategy by performing evaluations and assessments on the various technical aspects of the product
Work closely with quality assurance resources to create test plans and ensure that issues are properly assigned, fixed and regressed
Communicate daily regarding product status with internal and external team members as appropriate
Provide technical consultancy to department staff and participate in business development efforts including proposals, development plans, and presentations as needed
Determine and provide a necessary level of technical documentation during requirements gathering, based on technical services group standards, procedures, discussions with product staff, industry experience and technical vendors
Keep abreast of industry trends

Consistently adhering to, working with and creating the technical services group’s standards, practices and procedures

Successfully executing the roles and responsibilities of this position

Required Skills
Bachelor’s degree required; Masters a Plus
7-10 years leading development projects and teams, preferably in creating a product platform
Strong passion for and knowledge of technology
Demonstrated proficiency with various forms of back-and-front end development
Extensive experience with a variety of server-side technologies, databases and frameworks
Proven capability to present to clients, as needed, and drive profitable revenue growth
Extensive experience with web standards and best practices
Able to serve as technical commercial interface with clients as needed
Strong organization, communication, and interpersonal skills
Ability to exhibit technical thought leadership among peers and clients
Established track record of working with new business team for technical ideation
Ability to thrive in a fluid and entrepreneurial environment
Prior experience leading a team of developers
Inspirational and motivational leader
Strategic mindset with ability to manage complex and high level of work
