The Roman Catholic Diocese of Winona-Rochester is currently seeking a Notary for the Diocese of Winona-Rochester Tribunal. The position consists of preparing and authenticating documents of the Tribunal, organizing and carefully inspecting documents, providing guidance to parties and witnesses in marriage nullity cases and carrying out the written correspondence of the Tribunal. All of this is done under the immediate direction and supervision of the Judicial Vicar and the Moderator of the Tribunal. The person in this role is typically a practicing Roman Catholic and is appointed a Church Notary.

Typically applicants have a High School diploma, although further training as a Legal Administrative Assistant, Paralegal and/or Theology is highly desired. Minimum of three years in a similar administrative role preferably in a legal or Church setting is highly desired.

The Diocese of Winona-Rochester encompasses the 20 southernmost counties of the state of Minnesota and covers 12,282 square miles -- bordered by the Mississippi River to the east and the Dakotas to the west. It is home to 100+ parishes, four high schools, 30 junior high, elementary or preschools, and one seminary.
