The Senior Program Manager will lead the launch of a new statewide initiative aimed at improving the quality and diversity of Minnesota’s teacher pipeline. They will build and maintain relationships with multiple stakeholders: the lead partners (the Minnesota Department of Education, and Minnesota’s Professional Educator Licensing and Standards Board), Teacher Preparation Programs (TPPs), Local Education Agencies (LEAs), and other partner organizations.
The ideal candidate has significant knowledge of Minnesota’s education landscape.
Lead the Minnesota initiative, driving collaboration and coordination amongst all involved stakeholders
Develop excellent working relationships with the stakeholders at MDE & PELSB
Lead communications for the initiative
Liaise between the team and all the other stakeholders to enable them to execute to achieve all the goals and targets.
Represent the organization at local events / conferences.
Relationship-building and partner management.

Experience: 5 - 7 years of experience, preferably in the education sector.
Education level: Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s preferred.
Location/Travel: Located within the state of Minnesota with a willingness to travel to Minneapolis (MDE / PELSB) 1-4 times per month and travel throughout Minnesota state up to 3 times per month to meet with TPP partners, LEA partners, and other stakeholders.
This is a full-time, salaried position, including a generous benefits package.
The salary offer is expected to be between $84,000 and $88,000; final amount to be determined based on experience.
The ideal start date for this position is on or before December 16, 2024.
The hiring process includes three rounds of interviews and will begin in November 2024.
