ABC Waste of Savannah, Inc. is looking for a Front Desk Receptionist / Routing Assistant for their corporate office in Savannah, GA. ABC Waste of Savannah, Inc. was started in 1956 and is the oldest waste collection company in the Savannah area. Ideal candidate must be able to multi-task with a positive attitude in a fast-paced, high-volume setting. Ideal candidate must be able to work independently while maintaining contstant communication with the team.

Job Summary

Customer Service: Customer service and problem solving skills are imperative to creating fulfillment in an environment where inventory moves daily. Multiline phone system is used to reach out to customers and verify account information, collections, scheduling, etc. Customer payment processing on a daily basis. Must be comfortable making collection calls and annotating customer accounts.

Routing Assistance: Routing and dispatching a team of drivers to fulfill orders or scheduling pick-ups of fulfilled orders.

  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Answer and make phone calls in a professional manner.
  • Processes payments in various accounting systems.
  • Organize and maintain records for future research.
  • Openly communicate with management.
  • Develop a relationship with the customers.
  • Create efficient routes for trucks to travel to various points in Savannah area.
  • Strong computer skills.
  • Other minor duties may be assigned.

Qualifications

The requirements listed below are representative of the qualifications necessary to perform the job:

Education and Experience

Required: High School Diploma and at least one year of previous experience.
Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree or Associates Degree plus additional or specialized training, and two to four years’ previous experience.

Salary: $33,000.00 to $35,000.00 /year
