The Power, Energy and Infrastructure Investment Banking group at Cantor Fitzgerald provides financial advisory services to clients across the power generation, energy and infrastructure spectrum, including private equity funds invested in Wind, Solar and Natural Gas.

The Cantor Fitzgerald Power, Energy & Infrastructure Investment Banking Summer Analyst Program (the “Program”) is a ten-week internship beginning in June 2019 with the first week featuring training conducted by Pillars of Wall Street focused on modeling, valuation and financial accounting.

Summer Analysts will work on projects across all investment banking products, including mergers and acquisitions and other advisory services, as well as debt and equity financing. Summer Analysts will perform the same tasks as full-time Analysts, including working on client pitches and live transactions as well as diverse projects such as:

Assembling asset and portfolio overviews
Assessing industry research and trends in the power and energy sectors
Conducting client due diligence
Performing valuation methodologies, including precedent transactions, discounted cash flow and leveraged buyout analyses
Preparing offering memoranda and other written materials to clients and senior management
The Program will host several networking events with colleagues and senior professionals in both Investment Banking and the Firm’s Sales and Trading businesses further enriching the Summer Analysts’ experience.

Throughout the Program, Summer Analysts will be given constructive feedback and receive support and guidance from our bankers to ensure their professional growth. At the conclusion of the Program, each participant will have a solid understanding of our business and will be considered for a full-time position in the Investment Banking Analyst Program.

All undergraduate students, regardless of major or area of study and an anticipated graduation date between December 2019 and June 2020 are invited to apply. We look for the following in our candidates:
Self-motivated individuals who display initiative, drive, and leadership
Previous internships in financial services or professional services
Superior analytical and quantitative skills
The ability to excel in a collaborative team environment within an entrepreneurial setting
Outstanding oral and written communication skills
Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.5
