Customer Service Coordinators are responsible for ensuring the accuracy of inbound and outbound product/loads; communicating with merchants and vendors; as well as answering Home Depot store phone calls to assist store associates with open purchase order (PO) research. Individuals in this position must work cooperatively with other Associates and productively with little supervision. Following Home Depot safety policies and procedures is of great importance to this position.
Major Tasks, Responsibilities and Accountabilities
Follow Home Depot safety policies and procedures and encourage other Associates to do the same
Add, subtract, and calculate quantities of merchandise
Trouble shoot vendor ASN’s, as well as vendor and receiver discrepancies
Monitor dock shipping and handling procedures
Contact vendors/Merchants to track PO status and responds to store inquiries on truck shipping and delivery schedules, delivery status and special requests
Administrative duties and data entry
Work cooperatively and productively with Department Heads and other Associates in order to complete tasks
Work productively (i.e., receiving products, picking products, etc.) with little supervision
Provide and inspire outstanding service to customers (i.e., stores, etc.) by maintaining attention to detail and completing assigned work in a timely manner
Maintain condition of work area (i.e., free of trash, product in correct location, etc.)
Audit the quality of inbound and outbound trailer loads
Measure the accuracy of the third party logistics provider (3PL)
Resolve unmatched transfer report
Insure RF scanning equipment is operational
Additional duties as assigned by Transit Facility Management

Environmental Job Requirements
Located in a comfortable indoor area.
Under regular pressure to meet deadlines and/or quotas and/or must frequently deal with difficult issues related to people or situations.
Due to forklifts and other heavy equipment travelling through the DistributionCenter, temporary cracks may appear in the floor, causing uneven walking surface.
The warehouse environment can be dusty and noisy, and can experience interior temperature changes.
Must be eighteen years of age or older
Must pass pre-employment tests if applicable

Years of Relevant Work Experience – 1
Physical Job Requirements - Most all of the time is spent sitting in the same position or standing/walking or there is some requirement to lift or handle material or equipment of moderate weight (8-20 pounds)
A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred
Previous store receiving experience preferred
