Full Job Description
Performs day‐to‐day, routine land activities on a company‐wide basis or in a specific region. Receives training in field specific land assignments and provides support to other professional and technical Land staff.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Assists in conducting public records research regarding land in areas of limited interest to determine the current status of land, leasehold, and royalty ownership
Assists in the negotiation and drafting of JOAs and Communitization Agreements, leases and simple agreements for selected farm‐outs, farm‐ins, acquisitions and divestitures,
Prepares and submits proposal letters to partners on well drilling, workover, completions, etc. and tracks elections
Prepares and reviews basic land transfers, assignments, and contract schedules
Administers contracts in the assigned area, ensuring contractual obligations are satisfied
Review invoices, code appropriately and circulate for approvals, troubleshoot and solve problems related to invoices and coding
Other duties as assigned by Manager

Education and/or Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Land Management or equivalent work experience
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
Registered Landman (RL) certification preferred but not required
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
Other Skills and Abilities
Must be detail oriented and possess strong organizational skills
Possesses some knowledge and understanding of land management in the oil and gas industry
Possesses excellent written and oral communication skills

Annual Salary Range: $81,000 - $95,000
Actual compensation offered may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education and/or skill level. Total compensation package will be finalized at offer.
