Deloitte Consulting LLP seeks a Solution Specialist, Customer & Marketing, Human Services Transformation in Lake Mary, FL and various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally.

Work You’ll Do
Transforming how clients deliver services to customers. Delivering large, complex systems development and transformation projects to Human Service agencies across federal, state, and local government agencies. Partnering with clients to transform service delivery to those most in need. Performing assessments of existing information systems, and identifying gaps between business requirements and current system capabilities. Estimating time and resources needed for the development work. Functioning as integrators between business needs and technology solutions, helping to create technology solutions to meet clients’ business needs. Defining systems strategy, developing system requirements, processing design, prototyping, and testing custom technology solutions, and supporting system implementation. Creating test cases and performing functional, non-functional, system integration, black-box, white-box, and end-to-end testing of software applications. Creating project charters, schedules, and plans, defining project tasks, allocating resources and monitoring project progress. Researching user reported issues, identifying root causes and resolutions, implementing fixes, and liaising between business functions, end users, and technical delivery teams. Creating technical and functional specifications, including screen layouts, navigation flows, logic diagrams, data models, process models, and pseudo code, to be used for application development. Write functional and technical system requirements and use cases, create process flow diagrams and finalizing system requirements. Performing conceptual and technical designs, including the use of object-oriented analysis and design techniques. Tracking application defects using defect tracking tools, coordinating defect resolution efforts, and documenting resolution details. Gaining exposure to multiple industries and service lines within the practice while demonstrating an awareness of the full breadth of services offered by engagement follow-on opportunities. Assessing and diagnosing a problem and analyzing the interactions between key drivers. Developing solutions to client problems through application of personal experience and standard methods and tools. Validating solutions with subject matter experts. Defining clear business objectives and desired outcomes to guide own work and the work of others. Understanding tools and methodologies related to the design, configuration, building and testing of application functionality. Understanding how to design, configure, build, and test application functionality. Understanding technology fundamentals, including architectures, data modeling, and application development lifecycle. Utilizing SQL Developer and TOAD to write complex Procedural Language (PL) and Structured Query Language (SQL) queries in order to pull large data sets from databases including Oracle, SQL Server, and DB2. Developing Java Applications, web applications, and integration services using Spring, Struts, Servlets, JSP, and Java and J2EE technologies. Performing assessments of existing applications and identifying gaps between business requirements and current system capabilities in order to estimate time and resources required for the development work. Working on MEAN Stack (MongoDB, Express, Angular, NodeJS) and Full Stack (Angular, React, Java, Spring, Oracle) to develop user interactive single page web applications. Working on Clearcase, clear quest, IBM RTC Jazz, GIT, SVN, Microsoft TFS, and JIRA for version controlling and defect and requirements tracking. Creating business use cases by leveraging JAVA and web application codes in DEV, QA, and Production.

Requirements
Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering (any), CIS, MIS or a related field.
One year of experience in the offered position or a position in a related occupation.

Must have one year of experience with:
Utilizing SQL Developer and TOAD to write complex Procedural Language (PL) and Structured Query Language (SQL) queries in order to pull large data sets from databases including Oracle, SQL Server, and DB2;
Developing Java Applications, web applications, and integration services using Spring, Struts, Servlets, JSP, and Java and J2EE technologies;
Performing assessments of existing applications and identifying gaps between business requirements and current system capabilities in order to estimate time and resources required for the development work;
Working on MEAN Stack (MongoDB, Express, Angular, NodeJS) and Full Stack (Angular, React, Java, Spring, Oracle) to develop user interactive single page web applications;
Working on Clearcase, clear quest, IBM RTC Jazz, GIT, SVN, Microsoft TFS, and JIRA for version controlling and defect and requirements tracking;
Creating business use cases by leveraging JAVA and web application codes in DEV, QA, and Production.
15% travel required.
