Peninsula Siding Company (PSC), is the San Francisco Bay Area's leading siding contractor and an Elite Preferred™ supplier of James Hardie® brand siding. PSC has been installing siding in the Bay Area for nearly 3 decades and exceeds the highest levels of experience, training, integrity, and customer satisfaction in the industry. We specialize in James Hardie fiber cement products.

We are looking for a dynamic, quick-thinking, detail-oriented manager to fill the role of Production Manager/

Inside and Outside Sales. This person will be responsible for managing broad aspects of the Peninsula Siding Company, and will be the link between the clients, office staff, and field personal.

Responsibilities:

This role will report directly to the President of the company. General responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Sales and marketing
  • Following up on all client leads
  • Qualifying potential clients
  • Managing all aspects of permitting, contracting, and licensing
  • Job estimating and job contracts
  • Project planning, scheduling, and coordination
  • Change order management
  • Managing subcontractors, installers, and other field personnel
  • Managing job production, including job starts, job execution, job closeouts, and maintaining daily status update on all active jobs
  • Providing outstanding client interface and services
  • Continually developing methods for enhancing the business opportunities, offerings, and services

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in the construction/siding industry
  • Knowledge of duties and responsibilities associated with building, remodeling, maintenance, and repairing homes, and siding experience
  • Strong computer skills including scheduling software, project management software, and Microsoft Office
  • Excellent problem solving skills and ability to think quickly
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Outstanding client relationship skills and leading people
  • Must be highly detail-oriented and have exceptional organizational skills
  • Knowledge of small business management principles and practices, including people and resource management, leadership skills, project management, accounting, estimating, contracting, and managing subcontractors
  • Knowledge of materials, methods, and tools involved in construction/siding projects
  • Valid motor vehicle operator’s license and available vehicle to travel to job sites across the Bay Area
