**Job Summary:**
We are seeking an experienced Environmental Health and Safety Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for implementing safety programs, conducting training sessions, and ensuring compliance with environmental regulations.
**Responsibilities:**
- Develop and implement health and safety programs to ensure a safe work environment
- Conduct regular inspections to identify potential hazards and recommend corrective actions
- Investigate accidents and incidents, prepare reports, and implement preventive measures
- Provide training on safety procedures, emergency response, and regulatory compliance
- Collaborate with management to address safety concerns and improve processes
- Stay current on environmental regulations and ensure company compliance
- Participate in root cause analysis investigations for incidents
**Qualifications:**
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety or related field
- Knowledge of workers' compensation laws and regulations
- Experience in report writing and data analysis
- Familiarity with EPA regulations and hazardous waste management
- Strong communication skills for training development
