Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in various healthcare settings such as hospitals, outpatient clinics, and critical care transport
- Administer medications, IV infusions, and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Monitor and record patient vital signs and responses to treatments
- Conduct health coaching and education for patients and their families
- Perform gastric lavage and other emergency procedures when necessary
- Utilize electronic health record systems like Athenahealth to document patient care
Skills
- Proficiency in travel nursing practices
- Experience in hospital settings with a focus on critical care
- Strong health coaching abilities
- Familiarity with outpatient care procedures
- Knowledge of IV infusion techniques
- Competency in assessing vital signs accurately
- Ability to perform gastric lavage safely and effectively
Job Types: Full-time, Travel nursing, Permanent, Per diem
Pay: $39.53 - $42.08 per hour
Experience:
- Nursing: 1 year (Preferred)
License/Certification:
- BLS Certification (Preferred)
