Job Description
The individual in this position will be part of a dynamic team with a proven track record of inventing; developing and commercializing FDA registered medical devices. In this role, the individual will routinely interact with the Marketing, TS&D, and Development teams. In this role the Associate will be primarily responsible for aggressively defending and rapidly expanding the Mid-Atlantic region by driving new business development. This role will be responsible for protecting current business, prospecting new opportunities, delivering intense customer support along with industry networking and education as well as meeting bold year over year business growth objectives. This role reports to the East Coast Sales Manager.

Key Job Duties
Responsible for customer relationships, sales processes, presenting current and new products and closing business w/ target customers.
Target customers include, but are not limited to, hospital inpatient systems, outpatient clinics, long-term acute care facilities, home health agencies and specialty physician practices
Responsible for selling products at multiple call points within the target settings based on our value proposition, features and benefits, and for driving market share growth in an assigned geographic territory.
Schedules and maintains control of customer visits, including but not limited to presenting important product information.
Responsible for assisting the East Coast Sales Manager with the development and management of IDN, DME and distributor relationships in their territory.
Maintains product availability / supply for each setting through use of most appropriate local and national distribution channels.
Supports clinician in proper use of the Milliken Healthcare wound care dressings, compression systems and cohesive bandages & tapes.

Works on sales cycles with multiple wavelengths
Develops solutions to a wide range of difficult problems. Solutions are innovative and consistent with organization objectives
Completes work independently but can receive general guidance from both sales and market managers
Clear concise communication of activities, market feedback and competitive intelligence through a call report management system

Requirements
Bachelor’s degree required. Business degree preferred
Medical or healthcare industry experience preferred
3+ Years Proven Sales Experience
Working knowledge of healthcare facilities and how to communicate, influence, negotiate and mediate effectively across the healthcare facility staff
Travel minimum customer face time expectation of 75%, Quarterly travel to Spartanburg, SC
Proficient PC skills including Excel, PowerPoint, Project and Word
