U.S. Army New England Recruiting Battalion is looking for a skilled Information Security Analyst to join our team in Lowell, MA. This position is a full-time salaried position with benefits.
Responsibilities
- Analyze and implement information security policies and procedures, including risk assessment, security controls, monitoring, and reporting.
- Provide technical support to the Information Security team and other departments.
- Assist in the development of information security policies and procedures.
- Support Information Security Incident Response Plan (ISIRP) development and implementation.
- Participate in the development of Information Security programs, including training, policy development, audit, and compliance.
- Participate in the development of Information Security training materials.
- Participate in the development of Information Security programs for new technologies and systems.
- Participate in the monitoring of information security systems and technologies.
- Coordinate with other departments on information security matters.
- Other duties as assigned.
Required Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required. A minimum of 3 years of related experience required in an information security role or equivalent experience in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of information security policies and procedures with a focus on risk assessment, information security controls, data confidentiality, data integrity, data management, data recovery, and incident management.
- Strong knowledge of Windows Server environments (i.e., Server 2012 R2 & R2, 2016 & R2) with a focus on Active Directory & DNS configurations. (or equivalent experience)

Pay: $24,000.00 - $31,000.00 per year
