Summary: Under general supervision performs a variety of education and counseling, follow up and clerical support functions for the Healthy Start (HS), Community Action Network (CAN) and work groups. Must have experience in group facilitation, community advocacy, presentations and outreach. Plans and implements at least 2 large CAN events per year and monthly meetings for CAN work groups in Cobb and Douglas Counties. Communicates regularly with local agency representatives and attends local coalition, collaborative meetings each month. This position works to promote and protect the health and safety of the residents of Cobb & Douglas Counties.
Minimum Qualifications: Master's degree in public health education from an accredited college or university OR Bachelor's degree in education, social, behavioral or biological sciences or a directly related field from an accredited college or university AND One year of experience in public health education.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience in group facilitation, community advocacy, presentations, networking, outreach AND familiar with various video (meeting/conference) platforms.
Salary Information: $18 per hour / Up to 29 hours per week
