Job Purpose
Lab Supervisor directs the extraction team to safely meet the production schedule set by the Lab Manager. This position is also responsible for ensuring product is adequately tracked to meet regulatory and internal standards. The Lab Supervisor is currently responsible for six direct reports over three shifts, which entails day-to-day personnel and administrative management.

Operating equipment and secondary processing

Staging material and setting the production schedule

Other Duties
- Keeping track of analytical test results for in process lots
- Ensuring that the proper amount of sanitation and cleanliness is demonstrated by the extraction team
- Ensuring proper safety procedures are followed by the extraction team
- Research and development projects
- Ensuring the members of the extraction team stay on task
- Mitigating personnel issues and reaching out to the manager when appropriate
Minimum Qualifications
Education: None Required but a degree in the sciences is prefered, especially if the candiate will oversee solvent extraction.
Experience: Previous experience managing personnel in a cannabis setting is prefered.
Other Requirements:
- An understanding of METRC is preferred
- Experience with inventory tracking systems
Working Conditions
There are no travel requirements for this position and the hours are 8-5 Monday to Friday. The individual preforming this job is expected to lift and carry boxes weighing up to 20 lbs on a regular basis. The job is preformed in a laboratory containing hazardous chemicals.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
