The Search Engine Marketing Manager is primarily responsible for managing the paid and organic search programs for Embrace Pet Insurance, including paid social and display remarketing. This person also directly manages marketing analytics initiatives that provides insights to key business leaders.

Job Duties

  • Manage the all paid search programs (Google AdWords, Bing), including budgets, reporting, and account management
  • Continually optimize acquisition costs, return on ad spend, and overall media mix
  • Develop and manage engaging remarketing and acquisition programs for display and paid social media
  • Manage third-party software installed on EmbracePetInsurance.com via Google Tag Manager
  • Generate sales and KPI forecasts against all paid marketing channels
  • Manage all A/B tests for search ad copy, display and custom landing pages
  • Lead the Digital Marketing Analyst to improve insights and reporting to all levels of the business
  • Manage the consumer email marketing program along with the Sr. Digital Marketing Specialist

Skills

  • Expertise in the following Google services: Google Analytics, Google Display Network, Google Tag Manager, Google Optimize
  • Proficient in current SEO tactics and best practices
  • Experience with the Facebook Ads platform
  • Proficient in paid search platforms and strategies (Google AdWords, Bing Ads)
  • Working knowledge of digital marketing KPIs, analytics and reporting
  • Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

Qualifications

  • An understanding of what drives pet owners (preferably, you'd be a pet owner yourself)
  • 5+ years’ experience in an agency or brand focusing on lead gen
  • Google Ads certification and/or Google Analytics Individual Qualification (IQ) preferred
