Human Resources Assistant

This HR Assistant is responsible for performing HR-related duties on a professional level and works closely and supports the HR Generalist and Director of North America in servicing the US organization. This position carries out responsibilities in the following functional areas: onboarding/off-boarding administration, schedule interviews, PowerPoint presentations, Excel reports, meeting and travel arrangements and manage applicant tracking system. Other job duties as assigned.

This position requires an extremely high acumen with software programs (i.e. Excel, PowerPoint, ADP and ATS). The incumbent can relate to individuals at all levels within the organization. The HR Assistant must be sensitive to corporate needs, employee goodwill and confidentiality.

Maintains ATS, schedule interviews, and complete reference and background checks.
Maintains employee personnel files.
Maintains, updates and distributes the employee contact list.
Manage new employee paperwork.
Maintain and update employee handbook.
Maintains and coordinates employee recognition and anniversary programs.

Required Education and Experience:
A Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Communication, Psychology or any other Business-related field is a plus.
1-2 years of Human Resources role or related experience
High degree of confidentiality and trust required.
Experience in multiple division organization a plus.
Strong customer service and relationship building skills across multiple physical
office locations.

Preferred System Knowledge and Experience:
Expert level within MS Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook).
ADP experience is a plus.
